Dr. Berman is a Principal Bioinformatician at Volition, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Developmental Biology and Cancer Research at the Hebrew University Faculty of Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel. He has 20+ years of experience working with whole-genome sequencing data and developing computational tools. His independent lab has focused on analysis of cancer patient epigenomes.
