Chris Hakkaart

Chris Hakkaart is a Developer Advocate at Seqera, working on strengthening the Nextflow and nf-core communities. He holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Before joining Seqera in 2022, Chris worked at the the Institute of Medical Genetics and Applied Genomics at the Universitätsklinikum in Tübingen, Germany. There he developed bioinformatic pipelines for clinical and research use. It was through this work that Chris started using Nextflow and started contributing to the nf-core community.
