Chris Wright

Chris has worked at Oxford Nanopore for over 10 years. He started as a data analyst helping laboratory scientists develop the core technologies with MinION and PromethION flowcells. Chris was one of the primary authors the first publicly released basecaller: nanonet, as well as earlier HMM-based methods. He is also the lead developer of medaka. More recently Chris oversees the Customer Workflows group, responsible for creating bioinformatics resources for customers of Oxford Nanopore. Chris is presenting a talk titled "Real-time Sequencing Analysis with Nextflow".
