Friederike Hanssen

Friederike Hanssen is a PhD candidate at the Quantitative Biology Center working on nextflow pipeline development with a focus on further developing nf-core/sarek, a pipeline for germline and somatic variant calling, and applying it in various data analysis projects. After completing a BSc and MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Tuebingen, she joined QBiC in 2019 where she became involved with the nf-core community. She joined the core team in 2021. Friederike will be presenting a talk titled "nf-core/sarek: a comprehensive & efficient somatic & germline variant calling workflow".
