Zahra Waheed is a bioinformatician at the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA), at EMBL-EBI. She has worked to support users in submitting their SARS-CoV-2 data to the ENA, as well as tracking of this data at a national level, through liaising with public health authorities and setting up tailored submission streams. She is also heavily involved in multi-omics submissions and the technicalities of linking datasets across public archives. She received her BSc. and MSc. degrees in Human Biology and Genomic Medicine from King’s College London and St George’s University.
