Nextflow on AWS: choices and considerations

There are a number of ways you can run Nextflow workflows on AWS — from deploying traditional HPC clusters, to leveraging a fully managed service with Amazon Omics. Selecting how to run your workflows in AWS will be dependent on your past experience and desired outcomes. This talk will provide an overview of how we have supported a variety of customers running Nextflow workflows on AWS. Key criteria commonly evaluated such as familiarity for users, containerization, storage, integration with AWS services, and others will be discussed. The services and tools for running Nextflow on AWS are constantly evolving, and the current landscape will be presented.
