Mayur Khanna currently is a Data Engineer at Pfizer within the Machine Learning and Computational Sciences department. His work focuses on building distributed analysis platforms leveraging cloud technologies to analyze and store genetic data. Prior to his current position, he was an intern within Pfizer where he conducted a multi-omics data integration project for renal disease target prioritization. He also has extensive experience in software development and analyzing genomic data. His graduate research focused on polygenic risk score calculations and Mendelian Randomization for combination drug target therapies related to cardiovascular conditions. He has received his M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Chicago and B.S. in Public Health from Saint Louis University.
