Lukas Forer holds a PhD in Computer Science and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria. His main research interests are in the fields of Bioinformatics, Cloud Computing and Big Data. He is one of the co-creators of the Michigan Imputationserver, a free web service for genotype imputation with more than 100 million imputed genotypes. Additionally, he is involved in several software projects and develops computational methods for the analysis of genomic datasets.
