Alvaro is a seasoned computational biologist with more than 20 years of experience developing and commercializing innovative technologies. As CDAO of Pixelgen Technologies, he and his group develop the core data processing and methodology of analysis, lead multiple academic collaborations, and release significant datasets to support product commercialization.
Alvaro is a highly cited researcher, with more than 4,000 citations in prestigious journals. He frequently advises technology venture capitalists and investors. Alvaro earned his Doctorate in Bioinformatics at Uppsala University.
