Advancing precision medicine and infectious disease surveillance using nf-nomad plugin for Nextflow
NGS-driven programs rely heavily on an established computing infrastructure, which is a norm in the Global North and a rarity in the Global South, with multiple regions that are endemic to infectious diseases such as Tuberculosis and HIV.
With the nf-nomad plugin, researchers and public health authorities can rely upon low-cost hybrid clusters built from existing, older machines and be able to run the standardized Nextflow pipelines for research, diagnostics, and surveillance.
