In our lab at TIGEM in Naples, we have developed an integrated genomic workflow that allows, from the diagnostic extract, to reconstruct the SARS-CoV-2 complete genome using a customized amplicon-based method and to retrieve global gene expression of the host airway epithelium, via an adapted RNA-seq approach.
