Friederike Hanssen

Friederike Hanssen is a PhD Student at the Quantitative Biology Center working on nextflow pipeline development with a focus on further developing nf-core/sarek, a pipeline for germline and somatic variant calling, and applying it in various data analysis projects.
After completing a BSc and MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Tuebingen, she joined QBiC in 2019 where she became involved with the nf-core community. She joined the core team in 2021.
Friederike will be presenting her work titled “nf-core/sarek, a workflow for germline, tumor-only, and somatic analysis of NGS data”.
